    Please note photographers and videographers will be documenting the event. By attending, you agree to consent to filming, sound recording and photography of the event as an attendee, and consent to the use by Telstra of any such recording or photography anywhere in the world for promotional and any other purposes via any media platform.
  2. Who is eligible to attend Telstra Vantage™?
    Telstra Vantage™ is a private, invitation-only, ideas, technology and business experience. There is a place reserved for everyone who has received an invitation.
  3. Can I register a colleague to come with me to Telstra Vantage™?
    To request an additional invitation to Telstra Vantage™ please contact your Telstra Account Executive.
  4. Can I give my Telstra Vantage™ invite to my colleague?
    Your invitation is non-transferrable. If you would like your colleague to be invited, please speak to your Telstra Account Executive.
  5. Can I pre/post extend my trip or change my flight dates?
    If Telstra has arranged your accommodation and/or travel to and from Telstra Vantage™, we are unable to accommodate this request.
  6. I can only attend one day of the event, is this okay?
    Certainly. Please select the one day option when registering to attend.
  7. I can only attend one day. Can my colleague attend the other day?
    Your invitation is non-transferrable. If you would like your colleague to be invited, please speak to your Telstra Account Executive.
  8. Is there a dress code for Telstra Vantage™?
    The dress code is business casual both during the day and for the evening networking function.
  9. Will I be sharing a room?
    If Telstra has arranged your accommodation, you will enjoy a private room. There's no requirement to twin share unless your organisation requires you to share.
  10. Can I share a room with my colleague/friend/partner?
    If you would like to twin share, we will try and accommodate your request. Please contact au.telstravantage@atpi.com
  11. When and where are meals and refreshments served?

    If Telstra has arranged your accommodation, you can enjoy breakfast in the hotel you are staying at during the following times and locations:

    Whilst there are no scheduled breaks in this year’s agenda, refreshments will be available all day, in addition to set service times.

  12. Are airport transfers available?

    Yes, transfers are provided to those who are on Telstra group flights. Private transfer times cannot be arranged.

    FROM MELBOURNE AIRPORT TO MCEC – arriving on Tuesday 20 September 2016 or Wednesday 21 September, 2016. On arrival at Melbourne Airport, please look out for signage saying 'Telstra Vantage™’ at the Qantas Baggage Carousels for directions to waiting coaches.

    FROM MCEC TO MELBOURNE AIRPORT – departing on Thursday 22 September, 2016 at the conclusion of the event. Event staff will direct you to waiting coaches.
    If you arrive prior or post the above mentioned dates, you will need to make your own transfer arrangements.

  13. What are the Hotel check in/out procedures?

    Hotel check in time is from 2.00pm on the day of your arrival. On Tuesday 20 September, 2016 coaches will take you from the airport directly to your hotel. On Wednesday 21 September, 2016 coaches will drop you directly at the MCEC. Luggage tags will be provided at your coach checkpoint, at the airport and all luggage will be delivered to your assigned hotels. Credit card authorisation forms will also be issued at the coach checkpoint, at the airport to cover hotel incidentals. This will need to be completed before you disembark the coach. Please make sure you are the cardholder as these forms need to be signed and authorised.

    Hotel check out time is 11.00am. You must check out prior to Telstra Vantage™ commencing on Thursday 22 September, 2016.

  14. Will there be somewhere to store my luggage at the event?
    If you are arriving on Wednesday 21 September, 2016, your coach will bring you directly to the MCEC. Luggage tags will be provided at your coach checkpoint at the airport so that your luggage can then be delivered to your hotel. If you have an outbound flight on Thursday 22 September, 2016 please bring your luggage with you to MCEC. There will be a Qantas check-in desk available at the MCEC. Please check-in here with your luggage clearly labelled with your corresponding flight. Please ensure you have all valuables and necessities in your carry-on luggage. Carry-on luggage can be stored in the MCEC cloakroom if required.
  15. Do you cover any additional costs I might incur at my hotel?
    As part of your Telstra Vantage™ registration we cover the bill for your accommodation and the meals stipulated. The only bill you would receive is for any incidentals, personal items and services (including room service, mini bar and phone calls from the hotel phone) that you purchase during your stay.
  16. Can exhibitors and sponsors at Telstra Vantage™ access my contact information?
    You are in control of which businesses you’d like to keep in contact with. When you visit exhibitors within the Telstra Vantage™ Village, scan your name badge to share your contact details with them. If you don’t scan, they won’t capture your details. You will find the contact details of exhibitors and sponsors in the Telstra Vantage™ App should you wish to contact them.
  17. What sort of topics will be covered? Is there an agenda?
    A sneak peak at the Telstra Vantage™ 2016 Agenda will be available on the Telstra Vantage™ website https://vantage.telstra.com.au and app from 10 August, 2016. Both will be updated as necessary prior to, and during the event, so keep referring back to see what's new.
  18. When can I build my personalised agenda?
    The Telstra Vantage™ agenda will be released on 24 August, 2016. At this time you will be able to log in using your email address and customer registration confirmation number, located on your confirmation email.
  19. Can I make changes to my agenda?
    Yes. You are able to modify your agenda at any time through the Telstra Vantage™ website and event App. Use your email address and registration confirmation number.
  20. Will I be able to access Wi-Fi at the event?
    Yes, if you wish to keep working and keep in contact, Wi-Fi will be provided by Telstra Air and will be available in the Telstra Vantage™ Village.
  21. How can I get to Telstra Vantage™ from my hotel in the CBD?
    Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre is only a short distance from the Crown Hotels (see map). Please allow 10 minutes walking time between your hotel and MCEC.
