  • What is Telstra Vantage?

    Telstra Vantage is an ideas, technology and business experience that brings great minds, innovators and leaders together to find better ways of doing business. It’s where our people, customers and partners meet to explore and celebrate how technology, services and solutions are helping business, communities, the economy and humanity thrive.

  • When is Telstra Vantage held?

    Telstra Vantage runs over four days with multiple programs taking place from 17-20 September 2018. Check out the agenda to see which dates are applicable to you.

  • Attendance & registration

  • Can anyone come to Telstra Vantage?

    Telstra Vantage is a private, invitation-only, experience for selected Telstra Enterprise, Business and Government customers, Telstra staff, Channel Partners and Frontline leaders.

  • How do I register to attend?

    Once you receive your invitation via email, please register here.

  • Do I have to pay to attend?

    Event passes are complimentary for invitees, however there is also an option in the registration process to purchase your ticket to comply with your organisation’s probity requirements.

  • Can I give my pass to a colleague?

    Your pass is non-transferrable. If you would like your colleague to attend, please contact your Telstra Account Executive or Channel Partner Manager.

  • Can I buy a ticket?

    Tickets may be purchased by invited Telstra customers. This may be relevant for organisations that need to meet probity requirements. You’ll find an option to pay when you complete your registration form.

  • Can I bring a guest?

    Guests will not be permitted to attend any Telstra Vantage activities, including all networking events. Telstra Vantage is a private, invitation-only, experience.

    We’ve got inspirational keynotes from Thai cave rescue heroes Dr Richard Harris and Craig Challen, Telstra CEO Andrew Penn, New York Times bestselling author Daniel Pink, crypto currency specialist Neha Nerula, a star-studded panel session on the Business of Sport and a special presentation on 5G and how it’s going to change the way we do business. Explore 45-plus sessions that cover all the hot topics in business and technology, from mobility and security to 5G, networks and more.

  • Where can I see the agenda?

    Check out the agenda here. Select your program and search for key words so you can easily find the sessions that are most relevant to you.

  • Can I personalise my agenda?

    The ability to create a personalised agenda is now available to registered Telstra customers. To start planning your experience with the sessions you want to attend, log in here using your email address and reference number, which would have been sent to you via email if you’ve already registered.

  • Why can’t I add a specific session to my agenda?

    Sessions are limited to pre-registered Telstra customers and they fill up fast. We recommend you start planning your experience as soon as possible, so you don’t miss out.

  • Where can I get the app?

    If you've already registered, download the app to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play. Or simply search for "Telstra Events". There is also a web app available for desktop or windows users.

  • What’s on the app?

    The Telstra Events app helps you to see what’s on, connect with attendees, get live event updates, see who’s exhibiting and much more.

  • How do I create my own personalised agenda?

    The ability to create a personalised agenda is available to registered Telstra customers. Log in to the app and click on Agenda in the menu. Select the sessions you'd like to attend and view your personalised updated schedule in the My schedule menu item.

  • Why can’t I add a specific session to my agenda?

    Session capacity is limited to pre-registered customers and sessions fill up fast. We recommend building your agenda as soon as possible, so you don’t miss out.

  • Why is the app running so slowly?

    For the best experience using the app, we recommend you close any other applications on your phone.

  • Travel & accommodation

  • Who do I contact about travel and accommodation?

    If ATPI has arranged your travel and/or accommodation, and you have questions, please contact ATPI directly at or call 1300 780 120. ATPI will also be located near the registration desk at the event should you have any questions once you’re onsite.

  • Will airport transfers be available?

    Coach transfers will be available after Telstra Vantage™ wraps up, from 4.00pm on Thursday 20 September for those who flying from Tullamarine airport. Both taxi and uber transport is available from Melbourne airport and a SkyBus service is also available.

  • At the event

  • Will food and drinks be provided?

    Yes, there will be coffee and other refreshments available from Tuesday through to Thursday and meals will be served according to the below schedule. Please note, that there will be no breakfast served in the Village this year. For delegates who are travelling, breakfast is included with your accommodation.

  • What should I wear to the event?

    The dress code is business casual in the Village. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes.

  • Is there wheelchair access?

    The Village is accessible. However, if you do have specific accessibility requirements, there is a section on the registration form where you can indicate this, so we can help make your experience better.

  • Is there a cloakroom?

    A cloakroom will be open during event times. You can access it from door 10 of the Exhibition Centre concourse. While the cloakroom will be attended, please don’t check in any valuables, as responsibility for any loss will not be taken by the MCEC or Telstra. A cloakroom will also be open during the evening networking function – the Promenade Get Together - on Wednesday 19 September.

  • Do I have to wear my name badge and lanyard?

    Your event name badge and lanyard must be worn at all times during Telstra Vantage. If you misplace or lose your badge, you must produce photo ID for a replacement.

    Your name badge and lanyard must also be worn to the evening networking event. There will be no facilities to reprint name badges at the Promenade Get Together so there is a strict “no badge, no entry” policy. To avoid disappointment please ensure you wear your name badge at all times.

  • Will there be a security check-in process?

    Once you have registered, you will be required to wear your name badge at all times. Photo ID may also need to be produced on request.

    Bag checks will be conducted at entry to the Promenade Get Together. Bigger bags (larger than 30cm x 25cm) and backpacks will need to be left at the cloakroom for the duration of the event.

  • Will I be photographed or recorded at the event and how will the footage be used?

    Photographers and videographers will be documenting the event. By registering to attend, you agree to the Terms & Conditions of attending. This includes the consent to filming, sound recording and photography of the event as an attendee, and consent to the use by Telstra of any such recording or photography anywhere in the world for promotional and any other purposes via any media platform.

  • Who has access to my contact details?

    Telstra may use any information and data it collects through the registration process and your participation at the event for marketing purposes, may share this with third parties we use to assist with producing the event (including exhibitors and venue operators and managers), and may otherwise use this information in accordance with Telstra’s privacy statement set out at Telstra may also contact you through SMS or any other electronic medium in order to provide updates and key information about the event and related products and services, or to market its products and services.

  • Will there be Wi-Fi available?

    Free Wi-Fi will be provided by Telstra and available in the Village throughout the event.

  • Are there meeting spaces on site?

    There will be a business lounge in the Village, which is a space for you to arrange business meetings, or just sit down, plug in and get some work done.
