FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


A. Who is eligible to attend Vantage?

Vantage is a private, invitation-only, showcase event. There is a place reserved for everyone who has received an invitation.


B. Can I register a colleague to come with me to Vantage?

To request an additional invitation to Vantage please contact your Telstra Account Executive and once approved an invite can be sent to your colleague.


C. Can I give my Vantage invite to my colleague?

Please let your Telstra Account Executive know who from your company you would like to take up your registered place for them to confirm. The Vantage team can then extend a personal invitation.


D. Is there a dress code for Vantage?

The dress code is business casual both during the day and for the evening Networking Promenade function.


E. Can exhibitors and sponsors at Vantage access my contact information?

You are in control of which businesses you’d like to keep in contact with. When you visit exhibitors within the Vantage showcase, scan your name badge to share your contact details with them. If you don’t scan, they won’t capture your details. You will find the contact details of exhibitors and sponsors in the Vantage App should you wish to contact them.


F. What sort of topics will be covered? Is there an agenda?

The Vantage Agenda is now available on the Vantage website. It will also be available via the Vantage App from its release in August. Both will be updated as necessary prior to, and during the event, so keep referring back to see what's new.


G. My Agenda Builder isn’t working, help?

J. I can only attend one day of the event, is this ok?

Certainly. Please complete registration for the one day for your one day attendance.


K. I can only attend one day. Can my colleague attend the other day?

Unfortunately due to the exclusivity of the event, all customers must register prior to the event to attend and registrations cannot be transferred unless previously agreed.


L. Will I be able to access wifi while at the event?

Yes, if you wish to keep working and keep in contact, Wi-Fi is available in the Vantage Village.


M. How can I get to Vantage (MCEC)?

Please refer to Location page to find transportation details to travel to MCEC.


N. How do I gain access to Vantage?

On arrival at the event venue you will need to go to the registration desk to collect your nametag. This MUST be worn at all times and to all Vantage events please.


O. What parking is available?

Parking is available at the MCEC.


P. I have dietary requirements, how do I let you know?

The registration process allows you to enter any specific dietary requirements you may have. The venue staff will be advised of your dietary requirements and you will need to notify yourself to the wait staff at the venue if you have a special meal prepared (e.g. gluten free, vegan etc).


Q. I have accessibility requirements, where can I get more information?

Please note the below link for all accessibility information regarding the MCEC. http://mcec.com.au/about-mcec/accessibility/. We will also offer a hearing loop in our theatres.


R. I need a prayer room, is there one nearby?

On the Ground Level of the Convention Centre, there is a prayer room. This is located on the Convention centre side. To access the prayer room you will need to walk from MCEC to MCC and through the main foyer to get to the room.
